Papacárie?
Papacárie® is a product intended for dentists. It is an enzyme-based gel specially designed for the atraumatic caries removal, without anesthesia and reducing milling.
This gel is a harmless water-based material, completely safe for all patients as it does not contain toxic or irritating components. Papacarie® has been clinically tested and is safe for all patients, including young children and pregnant women.
Caries elimination
A single drop of Papacárie softens caries and alllows it to be dateched from healthy dentin with a simple curette. Papacárie only reacts in contact with infected dentin, leaving the healthy tissue intact. *
In just 30 seconds, without pain or tenderness, you can remove cavities using only a curette. In most cases, no need for anesthesia and/or turbines.

02. Enzymatic activity
The enzymatic activity of the bio-encapsulated papain (6,000 U / mg *) in Papácarie® only requires between 30 seconds and 1 minute to dissolve any tooth infected tissue with decay. Only a dental curette is needed to apply and remove Papacárie® gel from infected dentin. In most cases, drilling can be avoided. Note that Papacárie® does not affect healthy dentin.
03. Reacts only with infected dentin
Papacárie® only reacts in contact with infected dentin. No other process or material saves as much healthy tooth tissue as Papácarie®. This guarantees you the best minimal invasive treatment and the lowest amount of restorative material.
04. Avoids anesthesia and considerably reduces milling
By limiting the need for aggressive treatment involving anesthesia and drilling, Papacárie® not only minimize patients anxiety, it also improves the entire dental treatment process. The removal of tooth decay with Papacárie® is much safer than current methods. Multiple teeth in a patient can be treated simultaneously, reducing visit time and patient anxiety.
